Her two childhood friends, who grew up in Dubai, first founded startup Kiranakart, an online platform that delivers groceries from local shops in Mumbai. It ran from June 2020 to March 2021. Then, in April 2021, he launched Zepto, and in November’s first funding round he raised $60 million. The fast-food delivery platform raised $100 million in December, bringing its valuation to $570 million. In its latest funding round, Zepto raised $200 million at a $900 million valuation in May of this year.
